A few days ago, Christian found me my bike on Flickr and told me about this site he runs, Pedal Room. It's a pretty dope site when one can go to browse a ton of bikes, or post up pictures and info of your own ride. Christian asked if I would mind posting up a few of my bikes and having one featured on the site. Also asked me to answer a few questions to be featured along with my bike that can be found here. Be sure to check it out.

Thanks again Christian!
I finally finished up my baby. The sparkly green 1993 Cannondale Track bike that has been boxed away for months in my garage. I was in L.A. with SJF when we hit a local swap meet. I happened to have my blue C'dale with me when an older gentleman started talking to me about my bike. We both were saying how we really loved everything about the older Cannondale Tracks. Then he asked if I would be interested in another. YES!!! He continues to say it is a 55cm and green. I think my heart stopped for a second. Rather that discussing a price, we just exchanged info and went on with our day. I received a call from him 2 days later, the day we were heading back to San Jose, and we planned to meet up. Back at the Encino Velodrome, I was blown away by the amazing condition of the frame. He told me his asking price, and I paid. No need to bargain for such a beauty. I took my time building it up to close to original condition minus the hoops and saddle. She is everything I could have ever hoped for in a bike.

The picture of my green Cannondale made it to the Hong Kong Fixed Blog today!

I cant wait for the to have the rear wheel back from being build up so I can ride this beauty again.
After contemplating on whether it was worth my time totry to learn how to improve my pictures, I gave in and decided to download Adobe's Lightroom version 2.5.

Upon opening this rather expensive program, if you are unlucky enough to pay the retail price, I was quick to find that I had no idea how to do a single thing. Thanks to the internet, I was able to find a few hours worth of step by step tutorials on how to use Lightroom.

I watched and watched and watched, trying to remember exactly what did what. After 8 or so videos, I picked a picture and decided to go to work.
This is the original shot of my 1993 Cannondale Track Bike.

Using Lightroom, I turned that into this.

Some how the original still looks better, which means I still have no idea what I am doing. Back to the books, or tutorials have you, and hours of practicing that will probably have the same end result. Ahhhh I give up already......maybe.
